Why are manga artists so concerned about the sexual expression of "non-existent youths"?

I have written about this topic many times in articles, but since it seems that the activists still relentlessly want to "regulate manga/anime" in collusion with politicians, I would like to clarify here once again.

First of all, the concern for cartoonists is not that they will not be able to draw erotica of non-existent youths per se, nor that the cartoonists who approve of the sexual depiction of these "non-existent youths" are pedophiles.

This is, I repeat 100 million times, a ludicrous assumption, just like saying that female BL artists want to engage in such acts with gay men....

What manga artists are afraid of is that they will be controlled by the "what they can draw and what they can't draw".

This is the most terrifying thing of all.

Once there is a rule that says, "What you may draw, but what you may not draw," expression will inevitably have to be subject to the "law.

It would be easier to understand and abide by the taboos if it were a slander against an individual or racial discrimination.

However, the rule "Do not draw cartoons in which minors are regarded as sex objects" is in fact quite "qualitative" and has "no social benefits" of its own.

(1) It is qualitative.

My wife is about the same height as the average elementary school student today, but would I be punished if I depicted a short woman in a sexual manner? What constitutes a minor and what constitutes an adult based on a collection of lines on a piece of paper? Why is sexual intercourse with minors prohibited in the first place? It is because society has decided that it is "violence" to approach an individual (i.e., a child) sexually who does not have the "capacity for reasoned judgment" or "self-determination" (as defined by society). It is to deprive real children of their future and can destroy their lives. Hence, it is forbidden.

So, "who" is "sacrificed" by expressing the fiction of a collection of lines (i.e., erotic manga)? Today, when zoning is already thoroughly enforced, the victims are "mainly adults in hysterical political sects," NOT ACTUAL CHILDREN.

It is especially important to note here that the very adults who frown upon or reject many "dystopian" and "erotic" manga contents have no "morals" or "system of morals," i.e., "ideology.

WAS JEFFREY EPSTAIN ADDICTED TO HENTAI CARTOONS?

WAS R. KELLY BIG FAN OF HENTAI CARTOONS REGARING MINORS?

NADA.

Rather, there are no universally shared "values" for the community of Japan at present. Do we have (even remotely) a national religion? The Japanese Constitution was transplanted after the defeat of the war, and the "idea" of being Japanese is scanty, at least on the street (and among many politicians as well).

Therefore, to say "this is outrageous" is "lacking in universality".

The "ethics" possessed by the Japanese is extremely mechanical, that is, "to ape the people around me and look after the people around me". In other words, there is group surveillance, so "I must commit myself to it", which is the only "moral" foundation that the Japanese have.

The reason why Western countries reject "erotic manga" is because the base of "Western countries" is Christianity, and Japan has no reason to follow suit. (This is because Japan is not a Christian nation.)

(Because Japan is not a Christian nation.) Also, Japan has a long history of being open to sexual expression, as evidenced by the Shunga of the Edo period, and adults who consider "open sexual expression" to be "unethical" are simply "ignorant of Japanese history.

(2) There are no social benefits from regulating sexual expression to non-existent youths

International Comparison of Victimization of Children by Sexual Offenses

Public interest in the victimization of children by sexual crimes has been increasing. In an article published on November 11, 2011, we reported that the victimization rate of sexual crimes among junior high school and high school students was higher than that of the past.

https://tmaita77.blogspot.com/2012/03/blog-post_18.html

The top 10 countries in terms of child victimization rates are, in descending order, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Israel, Latvia, France, Germany, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and Trinidad and Tobago. Most of them are developed countries.

Are the above countries where "non-existent juvenile" erotic manga is more safer place for minors to live than in Japan?

Unfortunately, the point that "Japan is hard to raise the damage" is "beyond the realm of speculation," so it seems that "Japan in particular" is not prominent in sexual damage to children when considered on a factual (i.e., data) basis.

Here are my observations

1. Sexual preference (hetero, gay, etc.), including pedophilia (pedophile), is not something that is acquired. (Assuming you are hetero, would reading gay magazines daily make you want to rape men?)

2. Hence, it is unlikely that fiction content dealing with "sexual exploitation of minors" would act as "propaganda" to make "men in general" turn toward "actual" sexual exploitation of "minors" (not only is there no data to support this in the first place, but it appears to be "the opposite" as far as I can see)

3. The developed countries that have "banned" the sexual expression of "non-existent youth" and are encouraging Japan to do the same have a "higher number" of "sex crimes" and a "higher ratio" of "sexual exploitation of minors" than Japan.

All of those who want to regulate "non-existent erotic manga" ignore the fact that "sex entertainment" deprives "consumers" of the urge and motivation to engage in "actual sexual acts.

As for point 4, the following books and others may be of interest to you

https://www.amazon.com/Demise-Guys-Boys-Struggling-About-ebook/dp/B00850HTHO

The fact that the male population's dependence on "pornography" deteriorates and diminishes their sexual urges toward "real partners" and the "opposite sex" (a)

The fact that by feeding "fiction that satisfies" the latent group that originally "has a proclivity for underage acts", their sexual urge toward "real" "minors" is degraded and lowered (A')

This contrast is probably the actual efficacy of "erotic entertainment" (along with the low level of sex crimes in Japan).

Therefore.

"This manga is sexually exploiting minors ... it's outrageous."

is a socially rather harmful stance, just like being contaminated by anti-vaccines and the like.

As for the new porn law, there are "real people out there," so I won't go into the pros and cons here.

However, it is also quite impossible to derive from the fact that manga and anime "have no victims" and the number of sex crimes that erotic manga is "propaganda to induce sex crimes".

I believe that this will only result in Japan's manga industry...trampling on the only "cultural advantage" that Japan has over its neighbors, which are inferior in technology, economy, and military, and setting Japan back.

Why is Erotic Manga Necessary?

One reason is that, as I mentioned earlier, it has the effect of a "prisoner's dilemma" and reduces the "sexual urge.

If men who predispositionally prefer underage boys are

(1) be satisfied with fiction + not be punished

(2) Satisfied with actual victim + punished

This is the reality of "sex-entertainment," which traffic in the choice of (1) from the two options of (2) and (3).

So, in order to eliminate sexual violence and crime in the field, even in war zones, soldiers need a high level of pornography.

So, those who "try to kill" the sexual depictions of "non-existent youth" are, well, old and dumb (politicians), but they are also

(1) Can be satisfied with fiction + punished

(2) Satisfied with actual victims + punished

But they can't understand the reality that (2) is more bolstering....

For example, as a manga artist, I also draw so-called erotic CG in my doujin activities.

I have to admit that the "sexiness" and "beauty" of female characters in "non-erotic" manga are not the same as those in "R18" manga.

The "sexiness" and "beauty" of female characters in "non-erotic" manga is an extension of the techniques I have accumulated in the "R18" genre.

So, when I draw girls in manga, I can create the most "attractive" poses by turning the female body around in my mind in three dimensions.

That is, after all, art and art.

And since the root of such art is "R18,"

The root of such art is "R18," so they are connected to each other.

So, we can say, "We will punish you if you do basic research, but you should do applied research (Cool Japan).

Or...

Don't jump rope, don't spar, don't hit the mitts, but win the matches. But win the matches.

So, if we purge the "dirty" foundation of R18 (including non-existent minors), "Japanese manga/anime culture" itself could be on the same level as the surrounding countries, or even "lower" (since Japan does not invest in creators).

It's not good to be like, "What I don't like should just disappear from the world.

After all, they do what they do because they are told to and pressured to by foreign countries.

This kind of national character, which is like a clay pipe without a core, was the cause of Japan's defeat in the war against the U.S.A.

I really wish you would stop trampling on Japanese culture.

If "non-existent minors" are banned, "BL" will be next.

BL" is next, then ・・・・・

Well, something like that.

Keep up the good work, Dr. Akamatsu!
